Let’s start with his name. See, we started calling this Long Coat German Shepherd youngster Baby Max when he was a tiny pup. He was the only sable male in the litter, and he’s got his Daddy’s sweet face.
At Wildwood, we think his sire, VA1 Mad Max, is the greatest! Naturally, Baby Max is special to us. He was shortened to Ba’ymax soon enough, and what a perfect fit as he developed his own personality. He is sweet, rambunctious, curious, and a very beautiful boy. He loves to “help” and busily gets into anything you are doing.
We love watching him grow. We just know he is destined to be a Big Hero!
Bringing Up Baby;
Ba’ymax is in Chicagoland working on his IGP Foundation and WB (character assessment). He is already showing to be strong in bitework like dear old Dad!
His year in 2025 will consist of training and showing. He will compete in shows across the United States including the US Sieger show in the fall. Thereafter, we hope to send him to Germany to continue his IGP training.
2025 will be a pivotal year as this big baby turns into a grown up boy!
